| Edward Jennings has been sculpting in stone since 1975. He works primarily with alabaster. In 1988 he won the Sedona Arts Center's 8th Annual Juried Fine Art and Crafts Exhibition for the large alabaster rhinoceros shown here. This piece won the Best in Show for all media as well as First Place in the Sculpture category. The 355 entry exhibition was juried by artists John Soderberg, Lesley DeMille, and Bill Kalwick. Mr. Jennings does commissions as well as pieces of personal interest. He recently retired after a 25 year teaching career and currently lives in northern Arizona. |
